HERBAL NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT
Helping you decide what herbs would be appropriate and helpful to nourish the various organ systems of the body such as the digestive, endocrine, immune, musculoskeletal, nervous and reproductive systems.
This is different from using pharmaceuticals, which only help to temporarily relieve the symptoms. By comparison drugs help with immediate system relief, while herbs that are referred to as tonics have lots of nutrients and an assortment of biochemicals ("nature's pharmaceuticals") that can help nourish our organ systems when they need a boost. For example, drinking a cup of nettle tea can be restorative to the nervous system. I regularly do this for myself which restores my mental wellbeing.

SAFE PRESCRIPTION DRUG USE
This includes advising you on:
- The intended use of a medication
- Drug to drug interactions
- Any adverse effects
- Precautions, cautions and contraindications before using prescription drugs
- Any other questions you may have regarding the safe and effective use of both pharmaceuticals and over the counter products

HERB & PRESCRIPTION COMPATABILITY
Helping you decide whether it is appropriate and safe to use herbal products with prescription medications you are taking.
Decisions are based upon the following in order to evaluate the seriousness and relevance of a drug-herb interaction:
- Patient input
- My clinical experience
- Utilizing drug-herb databases such as the 'Interaction checker' from NatMed Pro

If you have questions about the use of cannabis and whether it might help you I will be glad to try to help.

HORMONAL IMBALANCE SOLUTIONS
Helping women who are facing hormonal imbalance issues such as those experienced during pre-menopause and menopause that cause quality of life problems.
An interview is conducted with you, where a complete patient medical history is obtained, which will be evaluated and then discussed with the patient, and if appropriate, a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) recommendation in the form of a prescription recommendation will be sent to your provider.
If the physician or nurse practitioner is in agreement with the recommendation of the pharmacist, a prescription can be sent to a compounding pharmacy to prepare a personalized compound that is specific to your symptoms.
